Success Quality

Everyone admires Success for his dedication, work ethic and enthusiasm.  He always got good grades and was the most popular kid in school. He made the cover of every newspaper in the city and state. Social media would never stop talking about him and his recent accomplishments. When Success would walk down the street everyone would ask him for his autograph knowing that it would be worth millions in the future. There is no place where Success could go without being recognized and immediately surrounded by a crowd wanting to know how he achieved everything and what he was working on. Success grew to become a national celebrity, he was invited to every talk show in the country multiple times. He met the president at least once a month to receive yet another award for his work. He even traveled around the world, giving multiple talks and meeting with the representatives of other countries, but in reality all his peers hated him and despised his perfectionism, as they felt inferior and almost worthless around him. Fame always competed with him for attention. They both wanted to become recognized in every part of the world.

The biggest failure that Success ever experience was that his younger brother, Dishonesty who hated him. Growing up Dishonesty started as a hard worker, trying to achieve everything that his brother achieved and even surpass him, but soon he realized that he was not capable of that. He began to look for different ways of gaining recognition and many saw these ways as unorthodox and immoral, but driven by the high expectations set by his older brother, Dishonesty tried everything to gain recognition, but people still only saw Success and paid no attention to Dishonesty.

Success only has a couple true friends that always were with him. Discipline, his childhood friend always motivated him to achieve and when Success felt like giving up and accepting failure, he would give a long speech to Success about the importance of achievement in life, the greatness that he can achieve and becoming more popular than Fame. Most of the time Success would agree with him and push through the struggles and aim towards perfection. He was a hard-worker and always set the bar high for himself and when he achieved it, he would simply raise the standard again.

This process of self-motivation continued for many years until one day Success failed and unfortunately for him Discipline was very sick that day. Fame somehow learned about this and convinced Dishonesty to go and talk to his brother while he was so vulnerable. Dishonesty also hated Fame, but his older brother was a greater enemy and agreed to talk to him. After a long conversation, Dishonesty managed to convince Success that the only way to accomplish this task was to cheat. Success knew about the harms that cheating could cause, but his thirst for glory and perfection was far greater. Fame knowing about all of this contacted the press informing about Success’ cheating. Very quickly Success fell from an international superstar to someone that everyone hated and despised for his cheating. Although it only happened once, it was enough to convince people that Success was a cheater and all of his achievements were worthless.
